HAGE(pronounce as háꜜgè) is a project to turn Japan’s most famous ASCII art meme “HAGE” into a token.
The project was started by a Japanese artist with a budget of just 3USD (468yen) and is run primarily with the advice of an AI.
HAGE means Boldness in Japanese, and bald people are ridiculed by others, are treated unfavorably in job hunting, and are judged by whether they have hair or not.
HAGE was tired of this.
One day, he looked at himself in the mirror. He realized that being bald is not something to be ashamed of, but rather a liberating image.
